So… am I the only person who finds this kind of really annoying and pointless? It’s barely 2 seconds of animation, the lip-synching doesn’t even matter, and it doesn’t really loop smoothly, so this GIF is just really jarring to me, especially when the message could have been put onto a JPG. Is there some sort of humour I’m not getting with this GIF re: smarmimess or something? I get that taking things out of context and mixing it somewhere else is supposed to be clever, but this GIF in particular is not.
(I also find GIFs that catch only a second of animation from the original clip with a full-sentence quote quite annoying as well. But that might be just me.)
